“Complaints may be made about the appointment to the Electoral Commission”
The Imminent Return of Thebes to Command
Aragonese coach Javier Tebas is on track to confirm his stay in the role until 2027, if no setbacks arise by December 14th.
His reelection, which seems certain, is an outcome after his resignation and subsequent candidacy for president of the Professional Football League.
An Interim Period in Progress
With the absence of other candidates until the last minute of the deadline for sending endorsements, Tebas assumes a provisional presidency until mid-December.
This interval allows complaints to be submitted to the Electoral Commission, made up of representatives from five randomly selected teams: Rayo Vallecano, Girona, Villarreal, Leganés and Eibar.
The Official Return
After the reporting period and approved by the Council, Javier Tebas will fully resume his duties as president of LaLiga.
This return comes exactly one week before the crucial decision of the European Union's Superior Court of Justice, scheduled for December 21st.
